Total Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

1 cup salted butter, softened

1/2 cup white sugar

1 1/2 cup demerara sugar

2 eggs

1 tbsp vanilla

2 1/2 cups flour

1 tsp sea salt flakes

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

3/4 Belgian white chocolate chunks (break from block)

1/2 cup Dutch chocolate sprinkles

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a stand mixer, cream together the butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until light and fluffy.

  3. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined.

  4. Add the chocolate and mix on high to break up the chunks further.

  5. Stir in the Dutch sprinkles.

  6. Chill the dough in the fridge for 5–10 minutes.

  7. Scoop approximately 2-inch balls of dough onto a baking sheet. (They don’t need to be perfectly round.)

  8. Bake for 10–15 minutes, until the edges are light brown but the centers still look soft.

  9. Remove from oven and leave cookies on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.

  10. Enjoy!

NOTE: The cookies will seem undercooked when you remove them, but they will continue to bake on the pan with the hot sugar before they cool.
