Ingredients

  • 200 g Hofstede’s roasted turkey

  • 6 slices Monterey Jack cheese

  • 2 packs Sardis dinner buns

  • 2 large yams

  • 1 jar The Bog cranberry sauce

  • 1 x 2 oz cup Hofstede’s Everything Seasoning

  • olive oil

  • salt & pepper

  • Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F.

  • Cut the yams into fries (about ½-inch sticks) and place them in a bowl of cold water for 30 minutes.

  • Drain the yams and pat them completely dry with a tea towel or paper towel. Transfer to a bowl and toss with a generous drizzle of olive oil, then season with salt and pepper or steak spice to taste. Toss until evenly coated.

  • Spread the yam fries in a single layer on a baking sheet, making sure they have space between them. Bake for 45–60 minutes, flipping partway through, until tender and golden.
Shortcut: For faster cooking, cut the yams into small bite-sized cubes instead of fries.

  • While the fries are cooking, prepare the sliders. Keeping each pack of dinner buns connected, carefully slice them in half horizontally to create one large top and bottom layer.

  • Layer the roasted turkey evenly over the bottom buns, followed by a generous spoonful of cranberry sauce and the Monterey Jack cheese. Place the tops back on.

  • Brush the tops lightly with olive oil and sprinkle generously with Hofstede’s Everything Seasoning.

  • Place the sliders in the oven for the final 10–15 minutes of the fries’ cooking time, or until the buns are golden and the cheese is melted.

  • Slice into individual sliders, serve with the yam fries, and enjoy!
