Smashed Tacos

Ingredients

1 package Grimm’s wheat and corn tortillas

1 lb ground beef

3 tbsp The Spice Age Taco Bout Tasty (taco seasoning)

Avocado oil

Your favourite taco fixings! We love ours with shredded romaine, cotija cheese (Mexican-style feta), avocado, Hofstede’s salsa, Tommy Grace Hot Sauce, and fresh cilantro.

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 lb of ground beef with 3 tablespoons of The Spice Age Taco 'Bout Tasty seasoning. Mix until evenly combined.

  2. Divide the seasoned beef into 6 equal portions and roll each into a ball.

  3. Place each ball onto the center of a small tortilla and press the meat flat, spreading it close to the edges—but not all the way to the edge.

  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Lightly drizzle or brush the grill/grates with avocado oil to prevent sticking.

  5. Carefully place each tortilla on the grill, meat side down. Grill for 10–15 minutes, or until the beef is fully cooked and browned.

  6. Flip the tortillas over and grill the other side for about 5 minutes, just until the tortilla is toasted and slightly crispy.

  7. Remove from the grill and top with your favourite taco fixings!

  1. Serve warm and enjoy!
