Savoury Waffles

Ingredients
1 cup flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 cup milk
3 tbsp vegetable oil
1 cup chopped cooked Harvest thick-cut bacon
1 cup shredded cheese
3 green onions, thinly sliced
Directions
In a mixing bowl or stand mixer, combine the flour, eggs, salt, milk, vegetable oil, and baking powder.
Mix until the batter is smooth and well combined.
Fold in the cooked bacon, shredded cheese, and chopped green onion.
Spoon the batter into a preheated waffle maker.
Cook until the waffles are golden and crisp.
Enjoy as-is or take them to the next level: drizzle with hot honey, top with a fried egg and crispy chicken, turn them into eggs Benedict with hollandaise and a poached egg, or use the waffles as buns for the ultimate breakfast sandwich.
