Loaded Croffles

Ingredients

  • 1 lb cooked thick-cut Harvest bacon

  • 6 eggs scrambled and cooked

  • sliced cheddar

  • 5-6 fresh-baked croissants sliced open

  • Optional hollandaise/maple syrup

Instructions:

  1. Cook your bacon and eggs, then slice your cheese. Set aside.

  2. Heat your waffle iron.

  3. Slice each croissant open and layer with cooked egg, bacon, and cheese.

  4. Place the assembled croissant sandwiches onto the waffle iron. (1-2 at a time)

  5. Close the iron and apply light pressure to flatten slightly.

  6. Cook for 4–6 minutes, or until golden and crisp.

  7. Remove from the waffle iron and enjoy as a breakfast sandwich — plain, with maple syrup, or topped with hollandaise.

  8. Enjoy!

    Optional: Make extra and freeze. Reheat by popping them in the toaster for a quick breakfast on busy mornings.
