Taco Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 Large Romaine Head

  • 1 PKG Johnston Lean Ground Beef

  • 1 Can Italissima Black Beans

  • 1 PKG Spice Age Tacobout Seasoning

  • 1 Jalapeno Jack Cheese Chunk

  • 1 Small Red Onion

  • 1 Large Yellow Pepper

  • 1 Container Hofstede's Fresh Salsa

    Directions

    • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil.

    • Add ground beef and 2 tbsp Tacobout Tasty seasoning. Cook until browned and fully cooked through.

    • While the beef cooks, grate cheese and wash/chop lettuce, peppers, and onions.

    • Drain the can of beans and add to the cooked beef. Stir and heat through.

    • In a small bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup olive oil and 1 tbsp Tacobout Tasty seasoning to make the dressing.

    • Toss the chopped lettuce with the dressing until evenly coated.

    • Build your bowls: start with dressed lettuce, then top with the beef & bean mixture, peppers, onions, cheese, and Hofstede’s salsa.

    • Want extra crunch? Add crushed taco chips on top.

    • Serve and enjoy!
