BLT Pasta Salad

Ingredients
1 458 g bag Kaslo sourdough rotini
2 cups romaine hearts chopped small
1/2 lb thick cut bacon
cracked black pepper
Dressing
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp dried parsley
1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
2 cups romaine hearts chopped small
2 green onion chopped thinly
Directions:
Cut the bacon into small pieces and fry in a pan over med-high heat until your desired doneness. Set aside and let cool.
Cook the sourdough pasta in boiling water until al dente.
While the pasta is cooking, prepare the dressing: In a large salad bowl, whisk together the mayo, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried parsley.
Chop the green onion and stir it into the dressing.
Chop the romaine hearts and sundried tomatoes; set them aside.
Once the pasta is cooked, drain and rinse it under cold water until fully cooled.
Add the cooled pasta to the bowl with the dressing and toss until evenly coated.
Gently fold in the bacon, romaine, and sundried tomatoes. Top with cracked black pepper to taste.
Serve and enjoy!
